CURRICULUM, INSTRUCTION & ASSESSMENT

INSTRUCTIONAL VISION

The Juan Morel Campos School community has expanded the concept of knowing each student well.  My driving philosophy is that all students can learn, no matter their cultural background, home language or economic status.  With the involvement of the family as an educational partner, we know the whole student from the inside out and every decision is made with the students’ best interest at the forefront of all planning. Students’ learning environments are highly driven by data, with purposeful learning experiences to expand their knowledge as they master new skills. This is the anchor that empowers our students to achieve success.

Furthermore, instructional experiences are tailored to the students’ individual need per their IEP.  The instructional strategies that utilize creative technology tools are driven by research and data to promote effective communication as well as support. The success of our students at home and in the world is in knowing how they learn and co-creating an educational program of strong academic and social skills to meet the diverse needs of our students.
